In June - July 2027, Dewi and Maartje will take a group to a special place deep in the Peruvian Amazone. A place where they themselves come to learn & study, and where the work with master plants and ayahuasca is rooted in the living tradition of the Shipibo culture.
We are not travelling there simply to experience ceremonies, but to truly immerse ourselves in the work for a period of 14 days. To learn from the plants, from Shipibo Maestro Wexa Metsa, from the jungle, and from the knowledge that has been passed down from generation to generation.

The heart of this retreat is a master plant dieta: a dedicated period in which you enter into a personal relationship with a specific master plant teacher. Through plant remedies, ayahuasca ceremonies, fasting and a sober diet, stillness and integration. Where space is created to listen, to the master plant, to the medicine, to your body and to what is ready to unfold.
Alongside the dieta and ceremonies, the programme will include Shipibo language lessons, workshops on dreams, and teachings about the structure and mechanics of working with master plants and ayahuasca. In this way, a space is created for a deeper understanding of the tradition, its cosmology, and the way this work is structured and held.

This will not be an ordinary retreat, nor a succession of ceremonies. It is a period of simplicity, depth and devoted encounter. A journey for those who are willing to be a student, and to meet this work with respect, openness and responsibility.
